05 — Colour
Prism Riot.
One spectrum, one set of UV neons, one deep ground. The spectrum is the brand — it never appears as a single flat colour, always as a gradient that moves. The ground is what makes it read as expensive instead of loud.
The holographic spectrum — the signature gradient
linear-gradient(100deg, #FF4FD8 0%, #FF2F92 16%, #FFD85E 34%, #00EAA7 52%, #3FE8FF 70%, #9C5BFF 88%, #FF4FD8 100%) — the stops wrap so it can loop forever without a seam. Always animate background-position, never re-render the gradient.
Aura Pink#FF4FD8Spectrum head. Primary accent, hover glows.
Fuchsia Flare#FF2F92Shared with Kismet Candles. Links, shade names, CTA glow.
Solar Opal#FFD85EShared. Stars, ratings, low-stock badges.
Electric Jade#00EAA7Shared. Success states, confirmations.
Cyan Prism#3FE8FFKismet Glitter only. Focus rings, cool end of the sweep.
Holo Violet#9C5BFFShared. Ambient auras, the bridge to Rebirth Ritual.
UV neons — the blacklight state only
UV Magenta#FF2BD6Replaces both pinks under UV.
UV Cyan#00F0FFThe bulb, focus, "glows UV" badges.
UV Lime#B6FF3CReplaces Solar Opal under UV.
UV Violet#7B2BFFThe wash, the room glow, the page ground bloom.
The UV neons are never used in the daylight state. They exist only inside :root.uv, where they overwrite the spectrum tokens. That is what makes the flip feel like a physical light change rather than a theme switch.
The ground
Obsidian Veil#0A0710Page ground. Violet-leaning black.
Midnight Plum#150E1ECards, panels, raised surfaces.
Smoke Quartz#241A2EBorders, dividers, inactive chips.
Moonlight#F6F1FABody text on dark. 15.9:1 on Obsidian.
Ash Lilac#B9A8C9Secondary text. 8.4:1 on Obsidian.
Ink on Light#100617Text laid on the spectrum — buttons, chips.
Rules
Never fill a large area with one spectrum colour. The spectrum is a gradient. A flat fuchsia hero would look like a different brand. Single hues are for 1–2px rules, small text, icons and glows only.
Text on the spectrum is always Ink #100617. Never white — the yellow and jade stops drop white text below 3:1.
The ground carries 80% of the surface area. Colour is the jewellery, not the dress. If a screenshot looks like a rainbow, cut the colour by half.
Contrast floors: body text ≥ 7:1, secondary ≥ 4.5:1, non-text UI ≥ 3:1. Moonlight on Obsidian is 15.9:1 and Ash Lilac is 8.4:1, so the floor is met with headroom for the ambient glows sitting behind them.
How it sits next to Electric Rebirth
Kismet Candles' palette is "Electric Rebirth". Four of its six colours are ours too — that shared core is what makes the two sites feel related without looking like the same site.
| Role | Kismet Candles — Electric Rebirth | Kismet Glitter — Prism Riot | Relationship |
| Hot accent | Cosmic Fuchsia #FF2F92 | Fuchsia Flare #FF2F92 | Identical. The family anchor. |
| Warm accent | Solar Honey #FFD85E | Solar Opal #FFD85E | Identical. |
| Cool accent | Electric Jade #00EAA7 | Electric Jade #00EAA7 | Identical. Also a shade name in the glitter line. |
| Violet | Holographic Violet #7A5CFF/#9C5BFF | Holo Violet #9C5BFF | Glitter takes the brighter of the pair. |
| Deep accent | Deep Neon Teal #007A9B | Cyan Prism #3FE8FF | Diverges. Candles go deep and moody; glitter goes bright and electric. |
| New | — | Aura Pink #FF4FD8 | Glitter only. Pushes the spectrum a step hotter. |
| Ground | Graphite Void #1E1E22 (neutral) | Obsidian Veil #0A0710 (violet, darker) | Diverges. Glitter is darker so pigment reads brighter. |
| UV set | — | Four UV neons | Glitter only. No other Kismet brand has a blacklight state. |
The rule of thumb: if you put a Kismet Candles page and a Kismet Glitter page side by side, three colours should be exactly the same and the ground should obviously not be.

Three sizes, one system.
Drawn at true platform ratios. Realistic cadence for a two-person studio is three posts per week per brand, batch-shot — so the templates have to survive being filled quickly.
